Sansbury Care Center residents found a way to beat the summer heat - they brought the outside in!

Residents enjoyed an indoor camping event on Friday, June 12.

The dining room was decorated with a backdrop of a tent, sleeping bags, mountains, a lake, trees, and firewood. Twinkling lantern lights resembled fireflies glowing in the night. Even the television added to the ambience, with a crackling campfire, but no smoke!

What's a campout without a cookout? Turkey and cheese brats in a blanket of dough were the menu of the day, with ice cream punch, and s’mores, of course, for the full campout experience!
