This has been a busy winter for the Vocations team! Sisters June Fitzgerald, Ana Gonzalez and Terri Schell kicked off 2026 at the SEEK Conference at the Columbus Convention Center, where they met with young Catholics to share information about vocations.
They shared a booth with two other Dominican congregations as part of a new joint vocational effort.

Later in the month, Sr. Ana and Sr. Bea Tiboldi, OP, visited with children and teachers at Saint Bridget of Kildare in Dublin, OH, to celebrate Catholic Schools Week.

February brought a quick walk across the street to join students from the Ohio Dominican University Salt and Light team. ODU Chaplain Father Dan Millisor is an Associate of the Dominican Sisters of Peace.
Students stopped by the Motherhouse to visit as well!

Sisters Ana, Terri and Manuela also took a star turn as they recorded daily prayers to be played on St. Gabriel Radio, the Catholic radio station in Columbus.

The Columbus Catholic Women's Conference is always a special vocations opportunity during the Lenten Season. This year's event on February 21 was a time for Dominican Sisters of Peace to reconnect with students from St. Mary's, Ohio Dominican University, and the Dominican Learning Center. By showcasing our Columbus ministries, we have an opportunity to show what Apostolic Preaching looks like in the real world. As part of our participation, Sisters June and Ana extended invitations for prayer and discernment.

Thanks for all you do in our Vocations Ministry! BTW, I enjoyed seeing the pix!
Blessings!
