DESCRIPTION:Come craft with the Dominican Sisters of Peace!\nWe conclude our Sacred Seasons & Creative Expressions series with a joyful celebration of the extraordinary woven into ordinary life. During Ordinary Time\, join the Dominican Sisters of Peace and guest presenter Mary Ellen George\, Dominican Associates of Peace\, for a prayerful and creative evening. Using simple scraps of cloth\, participants will learn how to transform the ordinary into something beautiful through quilting. This reflective\, hands-on experience invites us to pause\, pray\, and discover God’s extraordinary love revealed in our everyday lives. \nAs part of the program\, participants will create pocket prayer quilts. \nThis program is made possible in part through the generous support of the Catholic Foundation. \nWhen: Thursday\, August 20\, 2026\, 6:30 pm to 8:30 pm \nWhere: Location will be provided after registration. \nFor additional information and to register for the event\, please email Sister Ana Gonzalez\, OP at ana.gonzalez@oppeace.org.
